Applewood Plumbing Heating & Electric, which is in its 50th year of business, is receiving noted accolades for their best practices in the industry and as a local, family-owned company. The latest is a “best of” listing in ColoradoBiz Magazine’s “Best of Colorado 2023” issue.
Applewood is the “Best Plumbing Repair Service” of the more than 120 businesses noted in the edition. Businesses are selected by readers of the magazine for their outstanding services and company reputations. Applewood has been recognized as a top service provider by the magazine in the past.
“We are always striving to be the best we can be,” said Josh Ward, owner of Applewood Plumbing Heating & Electric. “When you have the greater community recognize those efforts it is especially gratifying.”
There were 13 categories in the Maintenance section that covered home services and repairs. Applewood attributes much of its ranking to its high quality workmanship and customer service. The company, which has served more than 300,000 customers, has a 96% on-time service record and more than 60% repeat customer base, sets a standard in the home repair industry.
The company is also an active champion of their industry and community. They currently fund trade scholarships at Red Rocks Community College, offer an apprentice program with the company and have donated more than $250,000 to local nonprofits through its Caring Community Giveaway.
Applewood is one of the few remaining truly family-owned and operated home repair companies. Applewood was also recently named a Denver Post Top Workplace for the 11th year in a row.
